By on

Canon today released a new firmware for its EOS 5D Mark IV full-frame DSLR camera.

The firmware update ver.1.0.4 fixes a couple of problems related to long exposure or bulb mode shooting. It also improves the communication between the camera and the SD card and reliability of the AF system.

The EOS 5D Mark IV from Canon features a 30.4 megapixel CMOS sensor with Dual Pixel AF. The sensor allows for fast phase-detection autofocus in video and continuous focus for stills shooting in live view.
