Kowa Prominar 90mm f/2.5 MFT lens displayed at the CP+ 2017

New Kowa Prominar 90mm f/2.5 lens has been on display at CP+ 2017 show. Designed for Micro Four Thirds system cameras this is a high-definition macro lens.

Kowa Prominar already has three models in their MFT lenses lineup. They are the 8.5mm f/2.8, 12mm f/1.8, 25mm f/1.8 prime optics.

The Kowa Prominar 90mm f/2.5 macro lens will provide a 35mm focal length equivalent of 180mm when mounted on MFT cameras. The lens also offers a f/2.5 brightness and macro telephoto function minimum focus distance of 0.1m.

The resulting high optical performance gives you an extraordinarily rich set of macro shooting capabilities. The Kowa Prominar 90mm f/2.5 MFT lens includes beautiful defocusing effects and rich expressions.

The manufacturer displayed a prototype of this lens at the CP+ Camera & Photo Imaging Show 2017, a major event that begins in February. The Kowa Prominar 90mm f/2.5 Macro is also included in the Four-Thirds lens catalogue. It says the lens is under development and scheduled to be released in 2017 or later.
