Sony Alpha A6500 has been unveiled with in-body 5-axis image stabilization technology and touchscreen. As of today it has also become the company’s flagship APS-C mirrorless camera.

Patrick Murphy-Racey published the very first review for the mirrorless camera. He says that the Sony A6500 is by far the best sports action E-Mount camera Sony has made to date.

The Alpha a6500 from Sony is an APS-C-format mirrorless camera well-suited for both stills and video shootings. The camera uses the same copper-wired 24MP sensor with 425 on-sensor PDAF points but gains a faster (LSI) processor to allow high speed operation. As a result, the device shoots up to 11fps in continuous mode for up to 307 frames.
