Sony A7RII Uncompressed 14-Bit RAW Firmware Update Coming in Mid-October

Sony has announced that they will be releasing the Uncompressed 14-Bit RAW for the Sony A7RII full-frame mirrorless camera in mid-October.

The company previously announced their plans to add user selectable compressed or uncompressed 14-Bit RAW still image capture via firmware update to additional cameras beginning with the recently introduced α7R II full-frame mirrorless model.

So the addition of Uncompressed 14-Bit RAW processing is a direct result of customer feedback.
