Fujifilm X100T successor camera, which will probably called the X200 is rumored to feature a brand new fixed lens

According to latest Fuji rumors, the replacement of the Fujifilm X100T will be coming with a newly developed lens.

Fujifilm X100T features a 23mm f/2 lens that offered a 35mm focal length equivalent of 35mm. The successor model probably called X200 will employ a brand new lens.

There is not enough information about the newly developed lens but we can expect a wider or longer focal length with the same aperture or the same focal length with a quicker aperture. As Fuji will sure continue the X100 saga with fixed focal lengths so a zoom lens is unlikely.

On the other hand the new fixed lens will be joined by the same image sensor that will be introduced in the Fuji X-Pro2 camera.

The Fujifilm X100T features a 16.3-megapixel X-Trans CMOS II sensor with on-chip phase detection, a 23mm (35mm equivalent) f/2 lens, a 3-inch 1.04-million-dot monitor, seven customisable function buttons, raw shooting capability and a top sensitivity setting of ISO 51,200.
