Panasonic G7 Rumored To Feature 4K Video Recording

More details are coming for the next Panasonic mirrorless camera with Micro Four Thirds image sensor which will be called as the Lumix DMC-G7.

According to latest Panasonic rumors, the new G7 model will record videos with 4K capabilities. Also it is being said that the 4K in the Panasonic G7 will have no DFD focusing system.

If true, the Company is only putting DFD in all flagship models and this also means that the only series really targeted to professionals may become the GH models.

Rumor: Panasonic G7 Will Support 4K Video Recording

  • Panasonic G7 announcement in mid May
  • 16MP sensor (same as the GX7)
  • 4K recording
  • no DFD

Panasonic G7 expected to be announced in May, 2015 and it will feature the same 16-megapixel image sensor found in the current GX7 model. Currently Panasonic G6 is selling for a price around $500 with a 14-42mm lens kit.
