Voigtländer has announced the price of the Nokton 10.5mm f/0.95 super wide angle lens designed for Micro Four Thirds system cameras.
The MFT lens will be available by the end of April. It will be priced £999 (estimated US price $1250). Check prices at eBay.
The Company currently has very fast prime lenses for MFT cameras. Voigtlander 10.5mm f/0.95 price slightly more than the existing Nokton 17.5mm f/0.95, 25mm f/0.95 and the 42.5mm f/0.95 lenses.

When fitted on a Micro Four Thirds camera the 10.5mm focal length will produce an angle of view equivalent to 21mm lens on a full frame system.
The lens uses 13 elements in 10 groups, and weighs a hefty 586g/1.28lbs, while the iris closes to f/16 and uses 10 blades to form a circular aperture. The closest focus point is a remarkable 17cm/6.69 inches.
The lens measures 82.4mm in length and is 77mm at its widest point, and will use a 72mm filter thread. It will be available only in black, and comes with a petal hood.
