Samyang has posted a new teaser on their Facebook page. The teaser refers to a new Samyang 100mm macro lens probably with f/2.8 aperture as previously rumored.
As posted earlier, the Samyang 100mm f/2.8 telephoto lens with macro capabilities is expected to become available on the market sometime this summer.
We can expect the 100mm telephoto macro lens from Samyang should come with manual focus.
First Samyang 100mm macro lens teaser
Samyang is on the verge to announce a new 100mm macro lens (probably with f/2.8 max aperture). The teaser says:
“With immense focus and unparalleled features, #Samyangoptics will introduce the latest product. Stay tuned.”
If becomes true Samyang 100mm f/2.8 macro lens will be available for all digital mirrorless cameras like Sony E-mount, Samsung NX-mount, Fuji X-mount and Micro Four Thirds.
The lens expected to have a price tag close to the EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM and AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED lenses. The price tag should be around $800.
