Samyang is rumored to announce a new telephoto prime lens with a 100mm focal length and f/2.8 maximum aperture.
Samyang 100mm f/2.8 telephoto lens with macro capabilities is expected to become available on the market sometime this summer.
As we know Samyang produce its lenses without AF support. So at the moment we can also expect the rumored telephoto macro lens should come with manual focus.
Samyang 100mm f/2.8 macro lens coming this summer
According to latest rumors, the Samyang 100mm f/2.8 macro lens is in development and it will have a price tag close to the EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM and AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED lenses.
This means the lens is expected to cost around the same price with these optics. The price tag should be around $800.
