According to latest Canon Rumors, the EF-S 18-300mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens has been in development for quite some time and the Company will release it on the market in the near future.
The EF-S 18-300mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens will probably replace the EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens which is currently priced for $700.

Canon’s rumored EF-S 18-300mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM all-around zoom lens is for digital SLR cameras with APS-C image sensors.
The name suggests that the lens will come packed with image stabilization technology and silent AF motor. It will be suitable for all the entry-level and mid-level APS-c sized sensored Canon DSLRs.
This lens has been rumored for a while but the release date is not clear if it will be announced at CP+ 2015 or not.
