The new Tamron SP 15-30mm f/2.8 DI VC USD ultra-wide zoom lens designed for full frame cameras has been on-display at Photokina 2014 event but no pricing information were given.
Now Tamron Japan announced the pricing and availability of their new SP 15-30mm f/2.8 Di VC USD (Model A012) lens for Nikon and Canon DSLR cameras.
The lens will start shipping in Japan on December 25th and the suggested retail price is ¥140,000 (around $1,178, expect US price to be lower).

The new wide-angle zoom lens will be available for Canon, Nikon, and Sony mounts. The Sony version of the lens will be released later. (check pricing and availability)

The Tamron SP 15-30mm f/2.8 DI VC USD has an ultrasonic focusing motor, ‘eBAND’ and fluorine coatings, and a 9-blade diaphragm. The SP 15-30mm f/2.8 DI VC USD is less than 145mm (5.7in.) long and weigh in at roughly 1.1kg (2.4 lbs).
