Nikon Japan has announced a new gold edition version of the black Nikon Df digital SLR camera.
The new Nikon Df gold edition model will be available in limited quantities and will start shipping in December, 2014. The price for the gold Nikon Df body only is ¥313,200 (around $2,685), the kit with 50mm f/1.8 lens is ¥334,800 (around $2,870).
There are also some new accessories for the Nikon Df gold edition camera. They are the gold 50mm f/1.8G lens, gold soft shutter release AR-11G and matching AN-DC9G strap.
Nikon Df Gold Edition DSLR Camera Announced
Nikon Df features the same 16.2-megapixel FX-format CMOS sensor, EXPEED 3 processor, elegant mechanical dials, 39-point AF system, ISO 100 to ISO 12,800 sensitivity, compatibility with non-Ai (pre-Ai) lenses, continuous shooting at up to 5.5 frames per second, a self-cleaning sensor unit and a shutter tested to 150,000 actuations.
