I am stunned that the 7DII is still in stock in a lot of places. I’m a Nikon shooter wanting a high FPS, cropped frame, sports camera from Nikon. I have been told that there in not much demand in the amateur sports shooter segment for this kind of camera. The professional sports shooters have already migrated to the FF, $6,000+ bodies. This worries me as Canon dominates the amateur sports shooter segment of the market and too much availability may convince Nikon to never make a cropped frame sports camera.
