Ricoh has officially announced the Pentax K-S1 digital slr camera. First Pentax K-S1 sample images are now official on Ricoh Imaging website.
Ricoh have posted half a dozen high-resolution sample images captured with the new Pentax K-S1 digital slr camera.
The Pentax K-S1 features a 20.1-megapixel APS-C sensor, an AA filter simulator and burst shooting at 5.4 fps, a 100% coverage optical viewfinder with 0.95x magnification, a top shutter speed of 1/6000sec, 1080/30p HD video recording and built-in shake reduction.

Pentax K-S1 sample images were all shot at low sensitivity settings between ISO 100 and ISO 400, and shot with a variety of lenses including the smc PENTAX-DA 50-135mmF2.8ED [IF]SDM, the smc PENTAX-DA FISH-EYE 10-17mmF3.5-4.5ED[IF], the smc PENTAX-DA★50-135mmF2.8ED [IF]SDM and HD PENTAX-DA 35mmF2.8 Macro Limited.

Pentax K-S1 will be available in 12 different colors from mid-September. The suggested retail price for the Pentax K-S1 is £549.99 / $749.95 body-only or £599.99 / $799.95 with SMC DA L 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 kit lens.
