First Image of The New Silver Olympus E-M1 Camera Leaked

First image of the upcoming Olympus E-M1 silver edition micro four thirds camera surfaced over the web.

As mentioned earlier Olympus will most likely announce the silver OM-D E-M1 mirrorless camera with Micro Four Thirds image sensor on August 30 along with the PEN series Olympus E-PL7.

The silver version Olympus OMD E-M1 will include the new firmware update which is rumored to add many improvements and new features. See the first image of the silver E-M1 and firmware update details below.

Olympus E-M1 Big Firmware Update Rumored Features List

  • Unlocked 4K video recording (over 100mb/s in simple HD)
  • High Speed and Slow motion Mode (240p or 120p)
  • Different frame recording mode including 24p/25p/50p/60p
  • Kinda of Cinema Grading Features (similar to Slog A7s and the one on the GH4)
  • Motion Film

The Olympus OM-D E-M1 mirrorless digital camera is a compact, ergonomically design camera featuring a 16.3 megapixel Live MOS sensor and TruePic VII image processor.

The big firmware upgrade will also be available for the current Black version too. Olympus is expected to release the new firmware by the end of this month before Photokina 2014.
