Sony A7s Shipping Date Now Set for July 1, 2014

Sony A7s will be released earlier than expected as the shipping date for the mirrorless 4K video recording camera now set for July 1, 2014.

Sony has announced the pricing and availability information for the A7S mirrorless camera in Mid-May. The camera has a price tag for $2,499 and it was said to be shipping from July 8, 2014.

Now Sony Store US changed the estimated arrival of the camera to June 30, 2014 and later on Amazon US also changed it to July 1st. Looks like early pre-orders will get the shooter before July.

The Sony A7S features a new 12.2-megapixel with a 35mm full-frame sensor, 4K movie recording, ISO 50 to 102,400 (extendable to ISO 409,600) and an improved auto focus system that remains operational down to light levels as low as -4EV.
