Nikon D800 Replacement Will Be Made in Thailand

Nikon will announce a new full frame DSLR camera this summer and it will be the replacement of Nikon D800 and D800E.

According to recent rumors, the upcoming Nikon D800 / D800E replacement camera will be made in Thailand. Current D800 and D800E models were made in Japan.

The next FX-format DSLR camera name still not clear in rumors, most likely it will be called D800s or D810. Some prototype cameras are already tested out in the field.

The replacement model (D800s / D810) will based on D800E. It will be the only model and will come packed without the AA filter. The price is expected to be higher than the D800E and this makes the price tag above $3,000. The official announcement is expected for June (most likely at the end of June).
