Olympus 40-150mm f/2.8 PRO Lens To Be Announced at Photokina 2014

The Olympus 40-150mm f/2.8 PRO lens is rumored to be announced and released at Photokina 2014 which will happen in September.

Olympus M.Zuiko 40-150mm f/2.8 Pro will be the new mid-range zoom lens and become the second lens in the PRO series after 12-40 f/2.8 PRO. As we all know PRO series lenses are freezeproof, splashproof, and dustproof.

There is no detailed product specs or images available at the moment for the lens. The Olympus 40-150mm f/2.8 Pro MFT lens seen on the E-M1 Brochure mounted on E-M1.

The price of the upcoming Olympus 40-150mm f/2.8 lens to be around $1,200 just like the 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 SWD lens.  There is also a 1.4x teleconverter patent pending along with the 40-150mm f/2.8 lens.

Also according to recent rumors it is expected that both the 7-14mm f/2.8 and 300mm f/4 lenses will be on display at the Photokina 2014. These lenses are coming in early 2015.
