Tokina AT-X 11-16mm T3.0 Cinema Lens Officially Announced

Tokina has announced a new cinema version of AT-X 11-16mm f/2.8 lens. The new Tokina AT-X 11-16mm T3.0 cine lens is official will be available for Canon DSLRs with APS-C sensors and Micro Four Thirds cameras.

Tokina AT-X 11-16mm T3.0 cine lens is said to be available in April with a price tag for $1,899. The cinema version of the lens is based on the popular AT-X 11-16mm f/2.8 for APS-C cameras.

Cine version features a new metal barrel and a clickless aperture ring especially for videographers. It will offer a 35mm equivalent of 16.5-24mm.

The lens will be released for Canon EF with support for APS-C DSLRs and Micro Four Thirds system cameras. Tokina may show the lens at NAB Show 2014. Tokina AT-X 11-16mm T3.0 cine lens an be pre-ordered at Adorama.
