Olympus 40-150mm f/2.8 Pro Lens Coming in the Second Half of 2014

Olympus M.Zuiko 40-150mm f/2.8 Pro lens will be delayed. The release date of the new mid-range zoom lens is rumored to be in the second half of 2014. Previously the Olympus 40-150mm f/2.8 lens expected to be in the first half of 2014.

The price of the upcoming Olympus 40-150mm f/2.8 lens to be around $1,200 just like the 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 SWD lens. No product specs of images yet. First hands-on video of the Olympus 40-150mm f/2.8 lens can be seen here.

Olympus to release three more M.Zuiko PRO Micro Four Thirds lenses in 2014. Along with the 40-150mm f/2.8 mid-range zoom lens there will also be a new PRO ultra-wide angle zoom but not the previously rumored M.Zuiko 7-14mm f/2.8 lens. According to 43R, a different wide-angle zoom lens will be displayed at Photokina 2014 and released in early 2015.
