Sony has announced the budget-friendly Sony A3000 compact system digital camera. First reviews has started to surface for Sony’s new Alpha 3000 camera.

David Kilpatrick has posted a full review for the Sony A3000 camera at Photoclubalpha. Sony A3000 review shows the camera in different angles, unboxing with several images. The review also comes with high resolution sample images taken by the new Sony A3000 camera and excellent details.

The competitively priced Sony A3000 offers a 20.1 megapixel APS-C sized Exmor CMOS sensor, a built-in 201,600-dot electronic viewfinder, an ergonomic hand-grip and weighs in at 411 grams including a battery.

Sony must surely follow this up with an A5000, or whatever, adding a few missing refinements to the camera and making it a £499 kit. That is what I would really like. But for the moment, the results from this cheap entry-level ILC are so good I have not touched the NEX-5n or the Alpha 77 since it arrived.
