Canon has just announced the Powershot G16 digital compact camera. Canon PowerShot G16 sample images are now available for full size.
The Canon Powershot G16 is a compact, advanced point-and-shoot camera featuring a 12.1 megapixel 1/1.7″ high-sensitivity CMOS sensor and DIGIC 6 image processor to produce high quality still imagery.
Canon Powershot G16 also includes a fast 28-140mm (equivalent) F1.8-2.8 lens. Full 1080p/60p video recording is available in MP4 format, and the High Speed AF mode offers improved autofocus speeds while maintaining up to 9.3 FPS continuous shooting.
