Olympus PEN E-P5 Micro Four Thirds digital camera is the first compact system camera with a 1/8000th second mechanical shutter speed officially announced back in May, 2013.
PhotographyBlog has posted a full review for the Olympus PEN E-P5 mft camera. The E-P5 got a five star score after the review and covered as a fantastic compact system camera overall.
The premium camera PEN E-P5 features 16-Megapixel TruePic VI Live MOS sensor, FAST AF, 9 FPS burst shooting, 5-Axis Image Stabilization, 3.0″ tilt touchscreen LCD, Full HD 1080p video in MOV & AVI formats and built-in Wi-Fi.
Olympus PEN E-P5 Review
The body only price of the mirrorless PEN E-P5 is $999.99.
From the review:
The E-P5′s biggest problem is not the camera itself, but its price – £899.99/$999.99 body-only makes it as expensive as the OM-D E-M5. Sure, it offers a lot of features that its big brother doesn’t, but then the E-M5 is arguably a more well-balanced camera thanks principally to its built-in viewfinder. Only you can decide if the more compact, stylish and feature-rich E-P5 warrants such a position. Ultimately the E-P5 joins the E-M5 as a fantastic compact system camera, albeit again a rather pricey one.
