Zeiss Roadmap for a New Lens Line – Full Frame Zeiss Lenses?

Zeiss has made an official presentation in Japan and share their strategy and activities. Zeiss updates hte lens roadmap for a new lens line. They want to focus on high quality lenses for DSLR and mirrorless cameras as well as smartphones.

Zeiss announced the mirrorless lenses Touit 2.8/12 and Touit 1.8/32 for Sony NEX (E-mount) and Fujifilm X cameras several weeks ago.

The image below shows the roadmap for a new lens line of Zeiss. The new lens line could be the new Full Frame Zeiss lenses for the previously rumored full frame mirrorless system Sony NEX-9 camera.

The rumored camera is Sony’s plan as a “hybrid” solution is to make the NEX-9 Full Frame camera compatible with the Alpha Mount.
