Sigma has announced the DP3 Merrill, Sigma DP3 Merrill compact camera features a 50mm F2.8 lens and a 46 megapixel 15x3MP APS-C Foveon X3 sensor. Sigma has posted 42 full resolution sample photos taken by Sigma DP3 Merrill digital compact camera. Sample images can be downloaded from their website.
Sigma finally made it official – the DP3 Merrill camera will cost $999 and it will start shipping on February 28th, 2013.
