New Nikkor AF-S 18–35mm f/3.5–4.5G ED FX Lens Announcement Expected at CP+ Show

CP+ Show in Japan is going to happen at the end of January. Nikon is expected to annouce one new full frama lens. It’s going to be the new Nikkor AF-S 18–35mm f/3.5–4.5G ED FX.

New Nikkor AF-S 18–35mm f/3.5–4.5G ED FX lens will have a 77mm filter size and lens design like 12 elements in 8 groups. f/3.5 aperture at 18mm focal length will be a good choice for many photographers. Also this lens is going to be the lightest in Nikon’s full frame (FX) line up. It is expected to be under 400 g/14 oz.

Nikon already had a 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5D ED lens that was announced back in 2000 and it’s price is currently $609.95.
