Hasselblad officially announced the second generation of its flagship medium format camera, Hasselblad X2D II 100C and XCD 35-100mm F2.8-4 E Lens. Both the products are now available for pre-order at B&H/ Adorama.
Hasselblad X2D II 100C is a medium format camera built around a 100MP BSI CMOS sensor, supporting “true end-to-end high dynamic range,” and it records images as 10-bit HEIFs by default.
The second-generation X2D brings significant improvements to autofocus, HDR, and stabilisation, while retaining the tried-and-tested 100MP BSI CMOS sensor first introduced by its predecessor. Paired with this, the 35-100mm f2.8-4 E XCD lens delivers exceptional image quality and performance, and offers a versatile focal range in an impressively compact form. Hasselblad continue to innovate and advance medium format photography forward in leaps and bounds!
