The latest rumors suggest that the Fujifilm X-H2 will be released in 2022. The X-H2 might well be the first Fujifilm camera to showcase a new APS-C sensor. According to recent reports, the sensor on the X-H2 will be capable of 8K video recording, both 8K DCI and 8K UHD.
We can now expect the Fujifilm X-H2 announcement just at the beginning of 2022, after a year in which the company focused its efforts on other mirrorless cameras such as the Fujifilm X-T4 and Fujifilm X-S10.
There is a APS-C Sony IM671AQR 43MP BSI 8k sensor which has stacked DRAM and up to 16 bit depth for stills images. It is rumored that the Fujifilm X-H2 could use this sensor, along with the frequently rumored Sony A7000 camera. Here are the rumored X-H2 specs posted so far.
