Canon RF Mount Camera Roadmap for 2021
- Canon EOS RP Mark II
- A new entry-level full frame RF mount mirrorless camera to replace current EOS RP, price will be similar or even lower than EOS RP launch price.
- New EOS R body above the Canon EOS RP replacement
- The new EOS R body price will be above EOS RP, while below EOS R6, it will not be “EOS R Mark II”.
- Canon EOS R7 ? (APS-C RF mount mirrorless camera)
- The Canon EOS R7 has rumored for a long time, it will be an APS-C RF mount mirrorless camera, announcement could be in 2021, along with some compact RF mount lenses.
- Canon EOS R5S (High-megapixel EOS R5 body)
- Canon EOS R5S will be a high megapixel full frame mirrorless camera to replace current EOS 5DS/5DS R. Rumors said EOS R5S will have twice megapixel than EOS R5.
- Canon EOS-R1 (Flagship full frame mirrorless camera)
- Canon EOS-R1 will be the flagship full frame mirrorless camera, may appear at Tokyo Olympics games.
- Canon Cinema EOS C50 & EOS C90
- Both cinema EOS cameras are likely to be announced in the first half of 2021.
