First Canon EOS R6 Specs, Is it the Mirrorless 6D Mark II Successor ?

First Canon EOS R6 specs have been leaked on the web. It seems that Canon is working on lower-resolution camera which will called as EOS R6.

The EOS R6 would likely be a mirrorless followup to the Canon EOS 6D Mark II, this camera is expected to be around 20-megapixels, IBIS and offer 4K video at 60 frames per second.

Canon is rumored to announce four new full-frame cameras in 2020, and three of them being mirrorless. Canon EOS R6 will be one of them. Here are the first specs of the new Canon EOS R6 full frame mirrorless camera.

Canon EOS R6 Rumored Specs:

  • 20mp full-frame CMOS sensor
  • IBIS
  • 12fps mechanical and 20fps electronic.
  • 4K @ 60p
  • New battery (Not sure if it’s the same as the EOS R5)
  • June 2020 launch (We think a May announcement)
