Confirmed: Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS II USM Lens Coming in April

The rumor mill confirms that Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS II USM lens to be announced in April instead of September.

The telephoto zoom lens previously rumored to be announced before Photokina 2018 event. The good news is that the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS III, which was expected to be announced by the end of 2018, is expected to appear like Photokina 2018.

As a result we might see the replacement for the EF 70-200mm f/4 L IS USM lens for Canon DSLRs in NAB 2018 event in April.

So it is confirmed that the new Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS II USM lens will be announced in April 2018, probably for NAB 2018. It is unknown if the EF-M 32mm f/1.4 STM lens will come together.

In addition, Canon is testing the new EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS III USM lens, which is expected to be announced around Photokina 2018 in September.
