Samyang XP 50mm f/1.2 lens coming soon

Samyang XP 50mm f/1.2 lens to be announced soon as the first pictures of the bright prime optic leaked online. With its mpressive maximum aperture, the XP 50mm f/1.2 from Samyang will be a portrait-length prime for full-frame DSLRs.

The fast f/1.2 maximum aperture benefits working in low-light conditions as well as offers increased control over depth of field for selective focus effects.

Samyang lineup of XP lenses currently has the XP 85mm f/1.2 lens and XP 14mm f/2.4 lens both unveiled for Canon EF mount. Now the XP 50mm f/1.2 lens is on the horizon for portrait lovers.

The portrait-length prime, this XP 50mm f/1.2 lens is designed for full-frame DSLRs, however can also be used with APS-C models where it will provide a 75mm equivalent focal length with cameras like EOS 77D and 80D.
