Samyang is rumroed to be working on a new AF 135mm FE portrait lens, which is scheduled by the end of 2017.
Samyang / Rokinon design and manufacture lenses with their 40 years of experiences and technology. They are making affordable and competitive lenses for Sony E-mount too.
In June 2017, the company unveiled their third lens called the Rokinon AF 35mm f/2.8 FE. This is lens has a price tag of $399, $400 cheaper than the current Sony Zeiss FE 35mm f/2.8 ($798).
Affordable Samyang AF 135mm FE Lens Coming in Late 2017
The maximum aperture of the budget-friendly Rokinon AF 135mm FE portrait lens is unknown at the moment. In terms of the affordable sales price, our thought is that the max. aperture would be f/2.8.
Other Samyang autofocus lenses in the lineup are the AF 14mm F2.8 FE and AF 50mm F1.4 FE. The upcoming optic will probably feature Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) of Samyang Optics.
