Samyang 35mm f/2.8 FE lens for Sony full-frame E-mount cameras is coming soon in a few weeks period.
The prime lens with bright aperture were on display at the Korean Photography Expo back in April 2017. Samyang / Rokinon already has two AF lenses for FE mount.
They are the Rokinon AF 14mm f/2.8 FE and Rokinon AF 50mm f/1.4 FE optics. Both lenses are priced at $699.95 and we expect this upcoming model to cost the same.
New Samyang 35mm f/2.8 FE lens coming in mid-June
Samyang 35mm f/2.8 FE lens would be ideal for street photography and everyday use. It will be quite fast for its class with an f/2.8 maximum aperture which will help users work in low-light conditions.
The rumor mill claims that the prime lens will have the same specs and similar size of the Zeiss 35mm f/2.8 FE lens. The autofocus performance is said to be similar to the Samyang 50mm FE.
