DJI Spark Mini Drone Officially Announced

DJI has announced the DJI Spark mini drone which is smaller than the Mavic.

This compact quadcopter features a 1/2.3” CMOS sensor that captures 12 megapixel photos and shoots stabilised HD 1080p videos and even aerial selfies. The drone’s compact size, 31 mph top speed, and up to 16 minutes of flight time will appeal to a variety of users, from FPV enthusiasts to racers to those just looking for more dynamic shots than are possible with simply a smartphone or camcorder.

DJI Spark Mini Drone comes in five different colors including: Alpine White, Sky Blue, Meadow Green, Lava Red, and Sunrise Yellow. The US price of DJI Spark Quadcopter is $499, with an accessory package for $699. And now the DJI Spark Mini Drone is available for pre-order at Amazon. Shipping is scheduled to start on June 15th.

According to the company, Spark is the first drone that users can control by hand gestures alone, successfully removing the barriers between them and their camera in the sky. The drone’s 2-axis mechanical gimbal and UltraSmooth technology reduce shake and rolling shutter.
