Venus Optics released some sample footage of the Laowa 24mm f/14 Relay 2x macro lens in action.
Three new videos taken with the unusual Laowa 24mm f/14 Relay 2x macro lens shows how the lens helps photographer to get closer tiny subjects without startling them even if they are underwater.
The new Laowa 24mm optic comes with a “Waterproof Cap” that makes the lens dip a couple of feet down and capture underwater macro photography. See other Laowa lenses that are available for sale at B&H and Adorama.

Laowa 24mm f/14 Relay 2x Macro lens comes with an unusual shape. The lens is designed for capturing macro images of shy subjects.
The macro lens has a 2:1 maximum macro reproduction ratio, is resistant to temperature and extreme conditions and it’s full-frame compatible.
There’s still no word on how much this strange lens will cost. The release date is schedule for 2017. When released, it will be available in Sony E, MFT and Fuji X mounts as well as Canon and Nikon and is full-frame compatible.
