SanDisk Launches Extreme PRO microSDXC UHS-II : World’s Fastest Transfer Speed

SanDisk has introduced the Extreme PRO microSDXC UHS-II card, the fastest microSD card in the world.

The new Extreme PRO will be available in 64GB and 128GB capacities, and features transfer speeds up to 275MB/sec with Class 10 and UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) ratings. The announcement is timed with the Mobile World Congress show in Barcelona where a number of high-profile mobile devices are launching.

According to SanDisk, the Extreme PRO microSDXC UHS-II card is ideal for recording Full HD and 4K UHD video from smartphones, action cameras and drones, among other devices. The new card is backwards compatible with UHS-I devices, and is rugged with temperature/shock/X-ray/waterproof construction.

The SanDisk Extreme PRO microSDXC UHS-II card will be available in Q2 2016 for $179.99 (64GB) and $299.99 (128GB).
