Olympus 300mm f/4 PRO Lens To Be Announced on January 6, 2016

Olympus is ready to launch the M.Zuiko Digital ED 300mm f/4 PRO telephoto prime lens as the upcoming MFT lens expected to arrive at CES event which starts on January 6, 2016 in Las Vegas.

According to latest Olympus rumors, the 300mm f/4 PRO lens will feature dust- and splash-proof construction and the price tag is expected to stand  around $2,499 in US.

The Olympus 300mm f/4 PRO Lens will be a new telephoto prime lens for Micro Four Thirds cameras which provides a 35mm focal length equivalent of 600mm and also gives constant aperture of f/4.

The Olympus 300mm f/4 PRO lens is rumored to be unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show 2016. The event will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada between dates January 6 – 9, 2016.

Olympus 300mm f/4 PRO Lens Rumored Specs:

  • Dust- and splash-proof construction (same size as the 40-150mm f/2.8 PRO)
  • IS on/off switch (in lens stabilization)
  • Minimum focus distance: 1.4m
  • Focus limiter switch
  • Shipping will start in Spring 2016
