Fujifilm X-E2 Firmware Update V4.0 Coming in Mid-January 2016

Fujifilm is expected to update the firmware of its X-E2 camera to version 4.0 in mid-January 2016.

According to Fujifilm Hong Kong (via Fujfilm Studio), the X-E2 compact system camera will recieve a new firmware update version 4.0 in mid-January 2016.

Fujifilm X-E2 ($799.99 – Amazon | B&H | Adorama) features a 16.3 megapixel, APS-C, X-Trans CMOS II sensor and an EXR Processor II to provide high quality imagery and exceptional camera performance.

When we look at the previous Fuji rumors, the new firmware update v4.0 for X-E2 said to come by the end of 2015. If the information at Fuji Hong Kong is right, than there has been a little delay on the release of the firmware.

The new firmware update for X-E2 camera is expected to bring a new AF-system. Stay tuned for more information.
