Nikon has filed a new patent in Japan for a standard zoom lens for CX-mount mirrorless cameras.
The new patent describes Nikon 10-30mm f/3.5-6.3 VR lens designed for mirrorless cameras with 1-inch-type sensors. The mirrorless lens offers a 35mm focal length equivalent of approximately 24.5-81.5mm.
If it becomes available on the market, the Nikon 10-30mm f/3.5-6.3 VR lens would be a great choice for kit option. The lens will probably be the same price as the f/3.5-5.6 model or maybe a little bit higher for its possible advanced features.
