Fujifilm XF 35mm f/2 Lens Coming on October 21

More details are coming for the upcoming Fujifilm XF 35mm f/2 R lens. The long-waited prime lens for the X-series mirrorless cameras is expected to become available on October 21.

According to latest Fuji rumors, the company will unveil the XF 35mm f/2 lens on October 21 and the release date of the lens in mid-November.

The Fuji community also waits for the new 1.4x Tele-Converter as shown in the previous roadmap but it’s unknown if the announcement will include the Tele-Converter.

The official announcement of the XF 35mm f/2 R compact and lightweight standard focal length lens is previously rumored for late October so we can say its on track to hit the markets. The price of the weather resistant XF 35mm F2 WR R lens is unknown but it is expected to cost less than the current XF 35mm F1.4 R lens.

The 1.4x Teleconverter is the first of its kind for the X-mount and can be attached to other Fujinon X mount lenses to extend the focal length by 1.4 times.

1.4x Teleconverter can work with the following lenses : XF 50-140mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR, XF 120mm F/2.8 R Macro (will be released in July, 2016) and XF 100-400mm (will be released in March, 2016).
