Nikon 1 Nikkor 7.5mm f/2.8 Lens Patent

Nikon has filed a new patent for a super-wide-angle lens in Japan. The new patent describes a new 1 Nikkor 7.5mm f/2.8 lens designed for mirrorless cameras with 1-inch type sensors.

From the patent document we can say the lens will offer 7.5mm focal length and f/2.8 bright aperture. The Nikon 1 series CX (1″) format have 2.7X crop factor that clearly means (7.5mm X 2.7) = 20mm (approx) of focal length.
