Sony has registered a new 24-70mm E-mount lens on Novocert’s website. The SEL2470GM is said to consist of a 24-70mm standard zoom.
The “GM” designation also shows us that the new 24-70mm E-mount lens will be designed made by Sony.
No details about the aperture of this SEL2470GM lens but this lens could be the first f/2.8 Full Frame E-mount zoom lens mentioned earlier.

According to latest Sony rumors, the lens will become official alongside the A6100 / A7000 high-end E-mount mirrorless camera in the near future.
This registration also means that we may see the upcoming Sony 24-70mm (SEL2470GM) lens officially announced in the next 30-90 days.
The FE-mount version which has a constant f/4 maximum aperture currently costs about $1,100 at Amazon.
