Firmware update version 1.1 for the COOLPIX P610 fixes several issues as detailed below. Before proceeding, select Firmware version in the camera setup menu and check the camera firmware version.

Nikon Coolpix P610 features a 16-megapixel 1/2.3-inch-type CMOS sensor, a 3” vari-angle LCD, built-in EVF which captures full HD videos and up to 7fps in continuous shooting mode. The lens offers a 35mm focal length equivalent of 24-1440mm and a maximum aperture of f/3.3-6.5.

• Addressed the following issues, which in rare circumstances would occur when the eye sensor was used to switch between the monitor and electronic viewfinder displays: – Images would not display or be saved correctly – The camera would freeze • Fixed an issue with manual focus that caused the focus position to change with each shot taken using interval timer photography
