Nikon Capture NX-D 1.2.1, ViewNX-i 1.0.1 and Picture Control Utility 2.1.1 Released

Nikon released new versions of Capture NX-D, ViewNX-i and Picture Control Utility 2 with support for the D810A camera.

Capture NX-D is designed specifically for processing RAW images and offers responsive and intuitive controls. In addition, characteristics such as brightness, contrast, and tone curves of not only RAW images, but also JPEG and TIFF images captured with Nikon digital cameras, can also be adjusted.

Nikon’s new ViewNX-i image-browsing software is designed to enable use of still images and movies recorded with a Nikon digital camera. ViewNX‑i software can map where photos were taken based on embedded location data and can be used with social networking and other web services. The bundled ViewNX Movie Editor makes processing and editing your movies a snap.

Capture NX-D 1.2.1

  • RAW photos taken with the D810a are now supported.
  • Fixed issue with changes made in ViewNX 2 and other Nikon applications sometimes not being visible when the images were previewed in Capture NX-D.
  • Fixed issue with Capture NX-D occasionally being unable to open images edited in Capture NX 2.

ViewNX-i 1.0.1

  • Support for the Nikon D810A camera is added.

Picture Control Utility 2.1.1

  • Support for the Nikon D810A camera is added.
