First Canon Rebel SL2 Specs Leaked Online

First Canon EOS Rebel SL2 / 150D specs have been leaked on the web.

According to latest Canon rumors, the upcoming EOS Rebel SL2 DSLR camera will remain a DSLR unit by featuring an optical viewfinder instead of an electronic one.

The Rebel SL2 specs list include a 24.2-megapixel APS-C CMOS image sensor with a Hybrid CMOS AF III focusing system and a 7560-pixel RGB and IR metering sensor.  The compact version of EOS Rebel T6i and EOS Rebel T6s models will also include a 19 point AF, 4.5 fps, 1080/30p video shooting.

The current Canon EOS 100D / Rebel SL1 features a 3″ ClearView II capacitive touchscreen, an 18-megapixel Hybrid CMOS AF II sensor and DIGIC 5 processor.

Canon is rumored to announce a new entry-level Rebel camera which will be the replacement for the current SL1 and probable be named as “EOS Rebel SL2“. Canon might release the Rebel SL2 / EOS 150D / Kiss X8 in August 2015 which means that its official announcement could happen in July.
