Nikon Coolpix P900 Camera Rumored Specifications

Nikon is rumored to have scheduled a major product launch event for March 2. Along with the long-waited D7200 DSLR, the Coolpix P900 superzoom compact camera is expected to be announced the same day.

First set of specifications of the Nikon Coolpix P900 digital compact camera have been leaked ahead of the announcement.

According to the specs list below, Coolpix P900 will be a bridge camera featuring a 83x optical zoom. The lens will offer a 35mm focal length equivalent of 24-2000mm with Vibration Reduction technology. More details below!

Nikon Coolpix P900 Rumored Specifications

Nikon Coolpix P610 features a 16-megapixel 1/2.3-inch-type CMOS sensor which captures full HD videos and up to 7fps in continuous shooting mode. The superzoom bridge camera currently priced around $500. For comparison COOLPIX P610 camera has a 63x optical zoom (24-1440mm).

There is not much details why the previously rumored Nikon D7200, Coolpix P900 and Nikon J5 have been delayed as they were expected to be announced for the CP+ Show in mid-February. Now it is most likely these products coming on March 2.
