Tamron Patent for 18-105mm f/4-5.6 Di III VC Mirrorless Lens

Egami has discovered a new patent filed by Tamron in Japan. The new patent describes the Tamron 18-105mm f/4-5.6 Di III VC lens for mirrorless cameras with APS-C-sized image sensors.

According to the name the zoom lens features Vibration Compensation (VC) technology. It also has the “Di III” designation, which means that it has been created for mirrorless cameras.

If the Tamron 18-105mm f/4-5.6 Di III VC lens  becomes official, it will provide a focal length range of 18-105mm and a maximum aperture of f/4-5.6. See the patent details below.
