Fujifilm has announced the XF 16-55mm F2.8 R LM WR zoom lens at CES 2015 event. First XF 16-55mm f/2.8 R LM WR sample images are now official on Fujifilm website.
Fuji has posted 5 high-resolution sample photographs taken with the new XF 16-55mm F2.8 R LM WR zoom lens that is suited wide angle landscapes or medium-telephoto portrait shoots.
The XF 16-55mm F2.8 R LM WR lens also offers an internal focusing system and ‘twin linear motor‘ which Fujifilm says will allow for fast and silent AF. The lens is sealed in fourteen places and has three aspherical and three ED elements and a Nano-GI coating to reduce flare. See more at the official announcement page.
