Nikon AF Micro-Nikkor 200mm f/4D IF-ED Lens Listed as Discontinued

The Nikon’s legendary macro lens, the AF Micro-Nikkor 200mm f/4D IF-ED has been listed as discontinued by manufacturer at Amazon.co.uk.

The lens is also nowhere to be found in stock in the US camera stores like Amazon and Adorama. The D-series Nikon 200mm F/4 micro lens is commonly used for Landscape/scenery, Macro photography and Wildlife photos.

The AF-Micro 200mm lens successor model has been rumored for a long time and according to rumors Nikon could announce a replacement model at Photokina 2014 show.

The Nikon 1 V3 camera, Nikkor 50mm f/1.4G and Nikkor AF-S Micro 60mm f/2.8G ED lenses are also listed as discontinued at Amazon UK. See the full list of products
